Early in the offseason, the Royals were linked to Jarren Duran and Brendan Donovan in trade rumors. Recent reports suggest Kansas City is unlikely to trade for either player, though. Donovan could still be traded from the St. Louis Cardinals, while a Boston Red Sox’s Jarren Duran trade is still realistic as well — but the Royals likely will not be acquiring either player this offseason.
