Kansas City signed first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino to a two-year deal worth more than $11 million, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal. Pasquantino can earn up to $16 million in incentives under the contract.

The two sides were scheduled for an arbitration hearing after they were unable to reach a deal for 2026, following their exchange of figures earlier this month.

Pasquantino filed at $4.5 million, and the Royals filed at $4 million.

The 28-year-old has emerged as a strong offensive contributor for Kansas City since debuting in 2022. He set career-highs with 32 home runs and 113 RBIs last season while slashing .264/.323/.475.

2026 marked the first season that Pasquantino was eligible for arbitration.
