ATHENS, Tenn. – The IU Kokomo baseball team dropped a doubleheader at No. 5 Tennessee Wesleyan Friday to drop to 0-4 on the season. In a second day of doubleheaders between the squads, Tennessee Wesleyan won the nine-inning opener 7-0 and the seven-inning closer 4-2.
Jedvier Garcia had IUK’s hit in the opener and starter A.J. Burkhalter took the loss. Burkhalter threw four innings with three hits, three runs (two earned), no walks and four strikeouts.
