Luis Arraez is staying in the NL West.

The three-time batting champion has signed a one-year, $12 million deal to move north to the San Francisco Giants, according to a report from El Extrabase.

The 28-year-old Arraez won his third batting title in 2024 after the trade from Miami to San Diego. But the .316 batting average was down significantly from the .354 mark that won the title the year before with the Marlins

Arraez is a career .317/.363/.413 hitter but is coming off a .292/.327/.392 campaign while playing first base for the Padres last year.

The one-year deal with the Giants to play second base is a $2 million pay cut from the $14 million he made in 2025.
