The Atlanta Braves are a part of a broad range of MLB teams that are facing question marks going into the 2026 season about how their baseball games will be broadcast on TV. As the Main Street Sports Group continues to falter financially, FanDuel Sportsnetwork is going to be no longer, and the Braves have had to pivot on how they will be getting all the games to fans on TV.

On Monday, it seems as if a solution of some sort has been made, according to the Braves’ official social media account.

It appears that the Braves will be starting some sort of internal broadcasting network and distributing it to another platform. An example of what another team in this same situation has done is the Miami Marlins, who recently announced their new ‘Marlins.TV’ network.

Braves Reveals 2026 TV Plans

Here is the statement the Braves made today regarding Main Street Sports Group:

“While disappointed with this development, we have been actively preparing for this outcome and are well on our way towards launching a new era in Braves broadcasting.”

The account goes on to say they want to assure that the organization will be ready for the 2026 season, and Braves’ Country will be reached with the games.

Scott Coleman, who covers the Braves for Hammer Territory, reported these details earlier today on what the Braves’ plans may be with a regional sports network:

“The Braves are expected to launch their own network, perhaps to air on a national streaming platform such as Amazon or Apple or with a template similar to the Rangers, which has deals with cable and satellite providers, an OTA partner and a streaming outlet…”

More Details Still to Come

There are still details that need to emerge about this situation, but the main expectation is that FanDuel SportsNetwork is no longer, as the remaining nine MLB teams seem to be cutting ties with the broadcast and gambling company.

Main Street Sports Group is in extreme financial distress, and the reports indicate that they have missed several payments to the regional teams.

However, the Braves are a very prominent region in terms of fan reach, as Braves fans stretch out all across the southeast, and the former cable network brought Braves fans in the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Alabama all the games.

More details about the Braves’ TV plans are likely in the coming weeks, as spring training is starting soon, and the MLB regular season is right around the corner.
