Toronto Blue Jays right fielder George Springer has had a phenomenal career in Major League Baseball. Through 12 years in the majors, Springer has a slash line of .266/.353/.478 with an .831 OPS, totaling 293 home runs and 796 RBIs. He has been selected to four All-Star Games, won three Silver Slugger Awards and was the World Series MVP in 2017.

His lone triumph in the Fall Classic came during his seven-year tenure with the Houston Astros after they picked him 11th overall in the 2011 MLB Draft.

Springer and the Blue Jays are coming off a heartbreaking finish to their 2025 season, as they fell in seven games to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the franchise’s first World Series appearance since 1993.

Springer played a big role in Toronto’s success in 2025. During the regular season, he played 140 games, batting .309, which was a career high, with an OPS of .959 to go along with 32 long balls and 84 runs driven in. He also swiped 18 bases in his impressive year.

The 36-year-old’s play during the postseason was just as good. In 16 games played during the Blue Jays’ run to an American League pennant, Springer had a .284 average with four homers, 14 runs scored and 10 RBIs.

On Tuesday, the Blue Jays announced four promotions and events for the 2026 season on the team’s social media account. This announcement included a “Jumpin’ George Springer Bobblehead Giveaway” on April 10.

“AS SEEN ON TV…your American League Champs! It’s Day 1 of our Promotions & Events Schedule,” the caption read.

This bobblehead commemorates the game-winning, three-run home run that Springer hit against the Seattle Mariners in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series in 2025.

The first 15,000 fans in attendance at Rogers Centre in Toronto on April 10 for the matchup between the Blue Jays and the Minnesota Twins will receive the bobblehead.

Toronto’s 2026 regular season will begin on March 27 at home against the Athletics, as the Blue Jays begin their quest for another World Series appearance.
