LOS ANGELES (KABC) — The Dodgers are reportedly getting ready for another visit to the White House to commemorate their 2025 World Series championship, marking the team’s third such trip in six years.

But not all fans are welcoming the news.

According to the Los Angeles Times, President Trump is expected to host the team, though an exact date for the ceremony has not yet been announced.

The Dodgers most recently visited the White House last April to celebrate their 2024 championship.

They also accepted an invitation in 2021 during the administration of President Joe Biden. At each visit, the sitting president received a customized team jersey.

Some fans, however, voiced opposition to the upcoming celebration.

Their criticism centers on federal immigration actions, with some urging the team to decline any invitation to the White House.

“You’re disrespecting the Latinos, the diversity of the city,” one fan said. “Please stand by us just like we stand with you guys as fans.”

Another fan added, “If you go to shake the hand of the man who’s causing so much suffering for us, that constitutes a full betrayal.”

The Dodgers have not provided any details or issued a comment regarding the planned visit.
