Cubs Charities’ annual Bricks & Ivy Gala unfolded against the storied backdrop of Wrigley Field, setting the tone for a night steeped in Chicago pride. Guests began the “Sweet Home Chicago”-themed evening with a cocktail reception on the diamond before moving to Gallagher Way for dinner, live entertainment and a high-energy auction. The crowd boasted A-listers aplenty, from special guest MLB All-Star and Cubs legend Sammy Sosa to Cubs leadership, alumni and longtime supporters of Cubs Charities. The return of fan favorites like Sosa and Derrek Lee during the Cubs Hall of Fame weekend added an extra layer of excitement, while presenting sponsor motorola razr helped bring the evening to life through its generous support. The evening raised almost $2 million, enabling Cubs Charities to continue its work and impact nearly 400,000 young people and their families each year.
