Tony Khan was walking the floor at Super Bowl week’s Radio Row with a coffee in one hand and a luchador mask in the other.

When asked about the mask, the Founder of All Elite Wrestling and Chief Football Strategy Officer of the Jacksonville Jaguars was giddy, as his two worlds officially collided through a new partnership.

“I’ve always wanted the NFL and AEW to work together,” Khan said. “This is a Jacksonville Jaguars lucha libre mask, but I’m so excited about it because they will be putting this up and these will be available for all 32 NFL teams.”

That excitement stems from a collaboration between the NFL and AEW that will see every NFL team represented with an authentic luchador mask during the NFL Draft.

“Starting the first night of the NFL Draft, Thursday April 23rd, we will have these masks available on ShopAEW for all 32 NFL teams,” Khan explained. “I’ve always wanted this. It’s a dream I’ve been working on for years. A partnership between the NFL and AEW. So whoever your NFL team is, whatever football team you’re a fan of, you’ll be able to get an All Elite Wrestling NFL mask for your team.”

Khan has previously spoken about his desire to merge the worlds of professional wrestling and the NFL, and this marks the first time that vision has come to life.

For wrestling fans, the significance of the luchador mask is well understood. Deeply rooted in Mexican culture, the mask is iconic and represents mystery, resistance, pride, and individuality.

Fans will be able to purchase the NFL luchador mask collaborations on draft night at ShopAEW.com.
