TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – One of the fastest Major League Baseball players in recent memory passed away this past week.
The Kansas City Royals confirmed on social media on Saturday that former outfielder Terrance Gore passed away at the age of 34. Gore’s wife said on social media that he died during a routine medical procedure.
Gore debuted with the Royals in 2014 and spent parts of 5 seasons in Kansas City. He stole 43 bases across 8 seasons in the MLB. Gore last appeared in a game in 2022 with the New York Mets.
