DETROIT. (WILX) – The Detroit Tigers placed right-handed starting pitchers Reese Olson and Jackson Jobe on the 60-day Injured List on Tuesday.
Olson, 26, underwent shoulder surgery earlier this month and will miss the entire 2026 season. He posted a 3.15 ERA last season but made just 13 starts, dealing with finger and shoulder injuries.
Jobe, 23, continues to recover from Tommy John surgery and will miss at least the first two months of the season.
The moves free up spots on the 40-man roster for newly signed starters Justin Verlander and Framber Valdez.
