Tyrese Haliburton’s father, John, will be allowed to attend Indiana Pacers home games ahead of Tuesday’s Game 4 against the New York Knicks, a team source said. John will watch the game in a suite at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, according to the source.

He missed the entirety of the Pacers’ second-round playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers following an on-court confrontation with Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 5 of the first round.

Tyrese scored the series-clinching basket in a wild finish against the Bucks after the Pacers were on the brink of losing. When the buzzer sounded, John stormed the court and waved a towel in Antetokounmpo’s face.

ESPN was first to report news of John returning to Pacers games.
