(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Rox are stepping up to the plate for local youth baseball programs with the return of the Share the Glove Youth Baseball Equipment Grant Program.

In partnership with the Northwoods League Foundation, the Rox will award one baseball equipment grant to a qualifying Central Minnesota organization. The comprehensive package includes one set of catcher’s gear with mitt, nine fielding gloves, six batting helmets, three bats, and one bucket of practice balls.

The initiative is part of a league-wide effort that will distribute 24 equipment grants, 12 for baseball and 12 for softball, across all Northwoods League affiliate communities in 2026.

Since launching in 2018, the program has helped ensure that young athletes aren’t left out in left field when it comes to accessing quality equipment.

To be eligible, organizations must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, school or school-based program, or community-based organization that provides baseball opportunities for kids ages nine to 12 in Central Minnesota.

For-profit businesses, political organizations, religious organizations, and individuals are not eligible.

Applications are being accepted through April 15th. Grant recipients will be notified in mid-May. To apply, click here.
