STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) — A Baxley native made his second collegiate appearance for the Georgia Southern baseball team on Tuesday night against No. 4 Georgia Tech at J.I. Clements Stadium.
Dayson Griffis pitched an inning and a third. He faced seven batters, gave up three hits and two earned runs.
His first collegiate appearance came in the Eagles’ initial game of the season against West Virginia. In that appearance, he also pitched an inning and a third. He gave up three earned runs on one hit along with a strikeout.
Griffis was one of 10 pitchers used in Tuesday night’s loss to Georgia Tech
