The Mississippi State Bulldogs went through the first two innings against the Memphis Tigers on Wednesday afternoon without a hit, then Kiarra Sells and Morgan Bernardini stepped up to the plate in the third inning.
Sells hit a three-run homer that bounced off he right field wall to get MSU going offensively and Bernardini added a grand slam later in the frame. The Bulldogs exploded for seven runs in the third inning and went on to defeat the Tigers 8-4 at Nusz Park Wednesday afternoon.
