Drew Gilbert’s slow hit to third base made it into an infield hit in the continuous opportunity with two outs and third base. It was a score that tied the score 2-2.
Lee Jung-hoo, who also came out as a leadoff hitter in the bottom of the sixth inning, hit a fastball in the fourth pitch in a 3-0 count against the changed pitcher Brayden Four, and hit a well-hit ball with a 25 degree firing speed of 98.9 miles, but was caught in the center fielder’s glove.
In the defense in the top of the third inning, Darrell Hernandez’s ball hit the fence with one out and runners on the first and second bases, leading out second baseman Max Muncy, who was aiming to score.
San Francisco won 6-2 on the day. Luis Arraez was two hits and two RBIs in three at-bats on the day.
