The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cleveland Guardians 11-3 on Monday behind the comeback of Gavin Stone, who came out with a 1,2,3 first inning to set the tone.

Los Angeles scored first in the bottom of the first inning. Miguel Rojas singled and later scored on a throwing error by third baseman Juan Brito. Andy Pages added a sacrifice fly later in the inning to give the Dodgers a 2-0 lead.

Cleveland took the lead in the second. After a single and a hit by pitch put two runners on, Travis Bazzana hit a three-run home run to center field to make it 3-2.

The Dodgers responded in the third. Kyle Tucker walked and Will Smith singled to set up a two-run double from Freddie Freeman, putting Los Angeles back in front 4-3. Teoscar Hernández followed with a single, and Pages added an RBI double. Sacrifice flies from Alex Freeland and Nick Senzel extended the lead to 7-3.

The Dodgers took a shot on Ryder Ryan right before Spring Training and he’s looked good so far.

He needed just 14 pitches to retire 3 Guardians batters and logged 2 strikeouts in the 4th inning today.

Los Angeles added two more runs in the fifth inning. Four walks in the frame forced in a pair of runs, pushing the score to 9-3.

In the sixth, Josue De Paula hit an RBI double and Zyhir Hope followed with an RBI single to increase the lead to 11-3.

Cleveland was limited to three runs, all coming on Bazzana’s home run in the second inning. The Dodgers’ pitching staff recorded multiple strikeouts throughout the game and did not allow another run after the second.

Los Angeles finished with 11 runs on consistent production throughout the lineup and secured the 11-3 victory.

The Dodgers beat the Guardians 11-3 and remain undefeated at 4-0 in Cactus League play.

Gavin Stone made his return after almost 2 years, Freddie Freeman and Andy Pages kickstarted a big inning and LA just keeps on going.
