After finishing fourth in the National League Central in 2025 and trading away the likes of Brendan Donovan, Nolan Arenado, Sonny Gray and Willson Contreras this offseason, the St. Louis Cardinals aren’t expected to be particularly strong on the field in 2026.
However, they should still be able to get fans to come to the ballpark after unveiling one of the greatest promotions in the history of mankind on Friday.

It’s called ‘Coca Cola Unlimited.’
For just $29, fans will get a ticket in the ‘Big Mac Land’ section of the stadium (Sections 271/272), and they will get unlimited food up until the end of the eighth inning. That food includes:
Ice Cold Fountain Coca-Cola Products
Fans may select up to three (3) items per visit and return as often as they’d like, according to the Cardinals.
It’s very clear that the Cardinals know they aren’t expected to be strong, so they are coming up with creative ways to get fans to Busch Stadium. This seems like it will be a home run idea and a great way to keep momentum at the ticket office in this campaign. While winning a World Series should always be the ultimate goal, creating new fans and fans for life is also a good thing for the organization – and the sport as a whole.

Making games and experiences affordable is a good way to do that.
–Top prospect JJ Wetherholt hit his first spring training home run of the Grapefruit League season on Friday afternoon. A universal top ten prospect in the sport, Wetherholt has a chance to start the season in the major leagues. If he doesn’t earn an Opening Day roster spot, his promotion shouldn’t be too far behind the start of the season.
While affordable tickets and food is a great way to get people to the ballpark, seeing Wetherholt will be worth the price of admission as well.

–Signed to a one-year deal this past offseason, right-hander Dustin May is looking for a bounceback season. He hit 99 mph on the backfields on Friday and his former teammate Joe Kelly spoke very highly of him on a recent episode of ‘Cardinal Territory.‘
–The Cardinals are back in action on Saturday at 12:10 p.m. CT against the Miami Marlins. It could be the final action for Cardinals players set to head off to the World Baseball Classic, which begins on March 5.
