Cincinnati Reds manager Terry Francona was in attendance at McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz., for the No. 2 Arizona Wildcats’ college basketball game against the No. 6 Iowa State Cyclones, hours after the Reds’ spring-training win against the Chicago Cubs.
Francona, who played baseball at the University of Arizona, was expected to fly after the game from Goodyear to Tucson with Reds general manager Brad Meador and assistant bench coach Mike Napoli.

Tucson is about 130 miles from Goodyear.
In January, Francona attended Arizona’s game against the Cincinnati Bearcats in Tucson.
