Nolan McLean looks as though he will be healthy enough to join Team USA for the WBC, which could have this outcome: The young Mets right-hander starting the final on March 17 in Miami, if the American squad advances that far.Â
McLean’s arrival at the WBC has been delayed because of the vertigo-like symptoms that began last week — forcing him to miss Monday’s workout in Arizona.Â
But if his appearance in a minor league game Wednesday in Port St. Lucie goes well and he doesn’t experience any setbacks, he’s expected to meet Team USA in Houston and would start the final game of pool play March 10 against Team Italy, perhaps piggybacking with Yankees left-hander Ryan Yarbrough against Italy’s lefty-heavy lineup.Â
Team USA manager Mark DeRosa told The Post on Tuesday that McLean would be in line for those games if he’s OK physically.Â
