It may be time for Samurai Japan fans to start calling Masataka Yoshida by a new name: Mr. World Baseball Classic.

The Boston Red Sox slugger added to his WBC resume with another huge moment on Sunday, lifting Japan to a 4-3 victory over Australia with a go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh inning at Tokyo Dome. The win clinched Pool C for Japan, which already had a place in the quarterfinals.

Japan’s powerful lineup, which scored 13 runs against Taiwan on Friday and eight against South Korea on Saturday, ground to a halt against the Australians.
