Wister’s softball team pulled through in the seventh inning with Macy Wolf driving in Piper Griffis for the winning run with two outs. Among other action, Red Oak softball (4-0) won two games at home, totaling 27 runs. Here’s the rundown of area baseball and slow-pitch softball results.
In Talihina’s decisive fifth inning, Landen Griffith hit a tying two-run
single, and Bobby Burns scored the go-ahead run on a single by Colton
Ryder Kirkes homered and had two RBIs. Kirkes threw four strikeouts in

Pocola’s Dauslyn Brown hit a two-run home run (her first of two shots
over the wall) in the bottom of the third inning, and Kyleigh Combs hit
a grand slam later in the inning.
