GREAT FALLS, Mont. — After a 2024 season filled with ups and downs, the Great Falls Voyagers are back on the diamond with renewed energy and expectations for 2025.
While last year tested the team with inconsistency, the Voyagers ended their campaign on a high note—showing flashes of a group capable of making noise in the Pioneer League postseason. That momentum has carried over into this year’s clubhouse, which features a mix of returning players and fresh talent. Despite the new faces, the team chemistry already feels established.
“Honestly, surprisingly, it’s been really good. You would think that all these guys have. We’ve all played together for years. Everything’s good, the vibes are good and we’re just ready to roll,” said Voyagers right fielder Freddy Rojas Jr.
The Voyagers are coming off a 2-4 road trip to open the season against the Glacier Range Riders. While the results weren’t ideal, the team is optimistic that returning to Centene Stadium will help spark a turnaround.
That spark could be the beginning of something special for Great Falls fans, who are eager to see a winning team take the field. The Voyagers haven’t posted a winning season since 2022. Their last playoff appearance came in 2018—when they captured the Pioneer League championship.
Now, with a supportive home crowd and a clubhouse full of belief, the Voyagers are hoping 2025 is the year they return to the postseason spotlight.
“know, at the end of the day, I like where we’re at. I think the goal, you know, obviously for these guys, they want to play playoff baseball is why they’re here. You know they’re here to get out and they’re here to play playoff baseball while they’re at it,” said Voyagers Manager Sean Repay
