After an exciting opening weekend of conference play, UCLA and Texas maintain their hold on the top two spots.

However, the most surprising movement came from LSU. The former No. 1 team of the Super 16 has completely fallen out this week as the Tigers have lost six of their last nine games.

After sweeping Wake Forest, Florida State jumped into the rankings. Arkansas, meanwhile, won its series over Mississippi State, and Georgia Tech also took a series over Clemson.

Florida also moved back into the rankings after beating Florida State in the midweek and then sweeping South Carolina.

Notable matchups this week include Auburn and Georgia Tech battling in midweek action. NC State and Florida State will be the only ranked series battle over the weekend.

Other series to watch include Kentucky vs. Ole Miss, Texas A&M vs. Georgia, and North Carolina vs. Louisville.
