It has been over a decade since the Giants won their last World Series title, but the five-year dynasty is one that certainly lives on through various means at Oracle Park.

Fans in San Francisco soon will have another reminder of those glory days, when the Giants add five World Series champions to the Wall of Fame. Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, Joe Panik, Buster Posey and Pablo Sandoval will see their names added on Aug. 8, the Giants announced Wednesday, joining 60 other legends who have been enshrined since the inaugural class.

The group is the first to be inducted onto the Giants Wall of Fame since the “Core Four” — Jeremy Affeldt, Sergio Romo, Santiago Casilla and Javier Lopez — earned the honor in 2024, and features two three-time World Series champions in Posey and Sandoval (2010, 2012, 2014) and a pair of two-time champs in Belt and Crawford (2012, 2014). Panik made his MLB debut with San Francisco in 2014 and helped them win the Fall Classic later that season.

It’s impossible to think of the Giants dynasty during those five seasons without thinking of the aforementioned heroes — from Posey’s arrival sparking it all in 2010 to Sandoval’s MVP performance in 2012. Then there was Crawford’s wild-card grand slam and Belt’s 18th-inning homer in 2014, and, of course, the “Crawnik Flip” in the World Series that same year.

The upcoming induction will bring the grand total of Giants Wall of Fame members to 65. Those who receive the honor are represented by bronze plaques that line the exterior brick wall of Oracle Park along King Street, and originally featured those who have played a minimum of nine seasons for the Giants, or five seasons with at least one MLB All-Star selection as a Giant or have won three World Series titles with the Giants. But in 2019, the Wall of Fame was expanded to include others, not just players, who have made an impact on the franchise.

Fans in attendance at the Aug. 8 game, when the Giants play the Detroit Tigers, will receive a commemorative poster celebrating Posey, Sandoval, Belt, Crawford and Panik, per the team.
