Teoscar Hernandez hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat Arizona 3-1 at Los Angeles Wednesday night.

The Dodgers led San Francisco by two games in the National League West at press time. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Angels won their sixth straight with a 10-5 win at Oakland Wednesday night. The Angels led the A’s 7-5 late in the teams’ Thursday game at press time.

The MLB standings held steady at press time. National League division leaders remained the Dodgers in the West, the Chicago Cubs in the Central and Philadelphia in the East. In the American League, the New York Yankees led the East Division, Detroit led the Central and Seattle led the West.

Friday, the Dodgers will play at New York in a series opener against the Mets. The Angels will host the Miami Marlins, and the San Diego Padres will open their series at Atlanta.  Â
