SPRINGFIELD–A sea of blue flooded the typically red littered Hammons Field, Saturday night, as fans of the Kansas City Royals farm team, Northwest Arkansas Naturals, got a glimpse of the potential success the franchise’s top prospect put on display.

Jac Caglianone, the 6’5 left handed hitter, smighted a pitch off Cardinals starter, Takoa Roby in the top of the 3rd inning, that landed on top of baby birds indoor training facility. The titanic blast sent the Royals/Naturals faithful into a frenzy, as they all stood and loudly applauded as Caglianone ran around the bases.

Cag’s solo home run gave the Naturals a 3-0 edge and it would help them go on to win 5-4.

The two teams will square off one final time on Sunday at 1 p.m.
