ST. LOUIS—This season’s Cardinals gear includes new Saint Louis food-related stuffies and new clothing lines.
“(There are) a couple new vendors for the adults. Torres is a great woman’s new line that’s based out of California featuring some great nostalgic baseball,” said Stephanie Spargur, the retail director for Delaware North. “Greyson is a brand-new polo line for us and we have not featured that before and I’s just a really great quality.”
One of the new polos dawning the Redbird includes a countless amount of tiny Gateway Arches. Spargur adds these polos are very popular in the golfing world. Redbirds’ staff say the Opening day commemorative baseball and lapel pin will be the hot item on Thursday. Kids might want to grab the Toasted Ravioli stuffie or the Hello Kitty wearing Cardinals gear.
Though, JJ Wetherholt jerseys were not expected to be available for opening day (because his official signing to active roster occurred after the media day) staff is certain it’ll have some Wetherholt gear available.
“So, we will have a Wetherholt tee shirt coming before opening day, should be shipping (Tuesday) featuring his name and a player (image).”
Other long-time fan favorites including Ozzie Smith and Edgar Molina are featured amongst new items. On a navy hoodie, the short-stop legend is captured in the middle of his iconic flip. Other new items included the foam finger, numerous hats, an over-sized gold chain “The Lou” necklace and numerous clothing items.
