JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – After the sweeping debacle in Tuscaloosa, the Gator baseball team had a few days to regroup and travel to Jacksonville for another showdown with No. 10 Florida State. Did I mention Florida was unranked? UF left Vystar Ballpark playing like a Top 25 team should have, shutting out the Noles, 5-0.
O’Sullivan said, “I’ll be honest with you, the plane ride home on Sunday night was not an easy one. Yesterday, was not easy. I took a bunch of notes. And quite honestly, 12:45 before we took off, we had a heart-to-heart as a group. And those guys who didn’t pitch well on Sunday, I challenged them. And they all three were outstanding.
