
The Baltimore Orioles are set to open the 2026 season at Camden Yards on Thursday, and there is a plethora of activities around the Opening Day festivities.

When gates to Oriole Park at Camden Yards Open:
The gates to Oriole Park at Camden Yards will open three hours before first pitch at 12 p.m. Parking lots will open at 11 a.m.
Fans attending Opening Day are encouraged to be in their seats by 2:30 p.m. to enjoy all pregame festivities.

Opening Day Activities:
– Giveaway: All fans in attendance will receive a Magnet Schedule, presented by MedStar Health.
– Maryland Square: Fans can enjoy music from DJ Mighty Mark along with various photo ops and mascot appearances in Maryland Square, the plaza located outside of Gate A & C, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
– Alumni Autographs: Orioles Hall of Famers Al Bumbry and Joe Orsulak will be in Maryland Square from 1-2 p.m. to sign autographs for fans, free of cost.
– Live Ice Sculpting: Fans can watch a live ice sculpting performance in Legends Park by the Cal Ripken, Jr. statue from 12-1:30 p.m. of a polar bear and various Orioles logos. The ice sculptures will be displayed in Legends Park throughout the game for fans to take photos.
– Opening Day Auction: Fans will have the opportunity to bid on game-used memorabilia to benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation. The auction, which includes items like Jackson Holliday’s first career walk-off hit jersey and Jordan Westburg’s first Oriole Park home run baseball, is now live on Orioles.com/Auction and will run until Sunday, March 29, at 10 p.m.
– First Pitch: Mo Gaba Fan of the Year Arthur Green will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. The 109-year-old veteran was named the 2026 Mo Gaba Fan of the Year in December after being surprised during a family celebration with a personal letter from Orioles Owner David Rubenstein and a visit from Orioles Hall of Famer Al Bumbry.
– Honor Guard: Colors will be presented by members of the Baltimore City Police Department Honor Guard and the Baltimore City Fire Department.
– Flag Drop: A 30’ x 42’ flag from Fort McHenry will be lowered from the batter’s eye during the national anthem performance. The flag is a replica of the one that flew over Fort McHenry when Francis Scott Key wrote the Star-Spangled Banner. Fort McHenry rangers, employees, and national monument volunteers will help unfurl the American flag.
– National Anthem: Performing artist and Baltimore native India Boone will perform her rendition of the national anthem from the orange carpet prior to the game. Boone, a touring Broadway performer, began her musical theater journey in the Baltimore County Public School System.
– ASL National Anthem: Longtime Baltimore resident Bobbie Soellner will sing the national anthem from the sod farm prior to the game. Soellner began taking American Sign Language in college after being inspired by trailblazers like Heather Whitestone, the first Deaf Miss America, and deaf actress Marlee Matlin.
– Flyover: The national anthem performance will conclude with a flyover by Operating US Air Force UH-1N Twin Huey Helicopters from Joint Base Andrews, Md.
– In-Game RBR Military Spotlight: The Orioles will highlight Master Chief Petty Officer Todd Schroder for their In-Game Military Spotlight, presented by RBR-Technologies. Schroder served 29 years in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Specialist and retired from Fort Meade, Md.
– Bud 150: In celebration of Opening Day and 150 years of Budweiser, fans are invited to visit the Warehouse Bar & Restaurant to enjoy festivities and purchase a Bud. The 150th fan who purchases the beverage will win an exclusive limited-edition prize from Budweiser.
– Guest Splasher: Baltimore Ravens Head Coach Jesse Minter will serve as the Guest Splasher during the game. “Minter Splash” will splash fans in the Bird Bath Splash Zone at the bottom of the second inning.
– Berks Live Hot Dog Race: The Camden Franks return to compete against one another live at Oriole Park. Ketchup, Mustard, and Relish will race around the right field warning track and down the first base line in the middle of the fourth inning.
