LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday kickoff their 2026 season against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 4:45 p.m. for the pregame elements before the 5:30 p.m. game. Earvin “Magic” Johnson will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Gospel singer Keith Williams Jr. will sing the National Anthem, accompanied by a flyover from two F-35C planes from Air Test & Evaluation Squadron NINE from the Detachment Edwards Air Force Base.
Also on Thursday, the 2025 World Series emblem, adorned on the right field reserved rafters, and the World Series flag will be raised.
Fan favorite, recently retired, and soon-to-be Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw will make his broadcast debut as an analyst.
For fans looking to refresh their team merch, the official Dodger stores will open alongside stadium gates on Opening Day at 2:30 p.m.
Auto and stadium gates will also open at 2:30 p.m. on Opening Day.
Metro’s Dodger Stadium Express (DSE) is free-for-all ticket holders, and fans are encouraged to use public transportation to connect to the DSE at Union Station and Harbor Gateway Transit Center.
The DSE will operate three hours prior to the first pitch, beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Opening Day.
On Friday night’s pregame ceremonies will honor the Dodgers’ World Series title with a ring ceremony. Players will receive their championship rings.
The Dodgers, who won back-to-back World Series, are seeking a three-peat.
