The Mariners unveiled their 2025 American League West champions banner in a special pregame ceremony before they faced the Cleveland Guardians on opening day, commemorating a year in which the club went on its deepest run playoff run in franchise. The team finished 90-72 last season to earn its fourth division title. It also won the AL West in 1995, 1997 and 2001.

Twenty-two of the 26 players on Seattle’s opening day roster played for last season’s AL West championship team.

The new banner is just the fourth championship banner the franchise has been able to raise and the first in more than two decades. The club also has a fifth banner hanging from the rafters celebrating its 2000 and 2022 wild card berths.
