The New York Yankees will take on the San Francisco Giants Saturday night. The Yankees come into this one looking to complete the sweep. Through the first 2 games they have outscored the Giants 10 to 0 with a hit difference of 14. On the mound for the Yankees will be Will Warren. Warren ended last season with a 9-8 record and a 4.44 ERA. Warren faced the Giants once last season where he gave up 2 hits and 2 runs through 5 innings pitched.
For the Giants, they will start the newly acquired Tyler Mahle. Last season, Mahle ended with a record of 6-4 with a 2.18 ERA. This was by far the best season that Mahle has had in a while. He will look to build on last season, though the Yankees bats are looking fantastic so far this year. Overall, I have major concerns about the Giants hitting, especially since they couldn’t capitalize on Warren last year. The Yankees bats are alive and well and have the potential to make it a difficult day for Mahle. I am taking the Yankees on the money line.
