On March 31st, the first game between Saitama Seibu Lions and Orix Buffaloes was held in Belluna Dome, and Saitama Seibu Lions win 5-3.
Saitama Seibu Lions starter Chihiro Sumida pitcher closer the first inning with a three-way strikeout, but in the top of the second inning, the lead player Ryo Ota was hit triple and allowed the first run with a timely hit by Kenya Wakatsuki player from two outs. In the bottom of the 8th inning, the batting line created a good opportunity for 2nd and 3rd base with doble of the lead player Shinya Hasegawa and hit and stolen base of the Manaya Nishikawa player. The following An-Ko Lin player scored two timely doble and succeeded in winning 5-3.
