Nolan McLean has been dominant through his first nine MLB starts. He has a 2.21 ERA (13 ER in 53 IP) with 65 strikeouts and 18 walks.

I can’t look anywhere but to the UNDER in this one, given the pitching matchup and the Mets’ offensive struggles.

McLean should be able to get through five or six innings and keep the Giants in check, unlike last night when San Francisco’s three-run first inning powered them to victory.

Mahle is making his second start in San Francisco after posting a 2.18 ERA with Texas last season. He should be able to hold his own against the Mets as well.
