Blake Krass shares his top fantasy baseball Pick6 picks and plays for the Saturday MLB slate. Check ’em out here!
The MLB season is off to a great start. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!
Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.
DraftKings MLB Pick6 Plays
Max Muncy More Than 1.5 Total Bases

Max Muncy has been one of the constants in this Dodgers lineup over the past few years. He doesn’t have the name-brand value of an Ohtani, a Betts or a Freeman. In fact, he is no longer even the only Max Muncy playing third base in California. However, he has consistently done the job for his team. Muncy has finished the season with an OPS over .800 each of the past three seasons. So far this season, that OPS sits firmly at .812. Muncy is always a threat, but he should be great today against Jake Irvin. Irvin gave up two home runs in his first start of the season. Last season was rough for Irvin, as he finished the year with a 5.70 ERA. It could be a rough outing against the Dodgers for him today. Muncy is 4-for-14 in his career against Irvin with three doubles. He should manage to generate another extra-base hit in this matchup against Irvin. Muncy also has a chance to generate hard contact against the Nationals’ bullpen, which ranks 19th in the MLB in bullpen ERA.
Yordan Alvarez More Than 1.5 Total Bases

Yordan Alvarez has been one of the best power hitters in baseball over the past few years. He had a bit of a dip in 2025 after three straight All-Star seasons. However, Alvarez has started this 2026 season on an incredibly high note. Alvarez is batting .400 and leads the American League with a 1.409 OPS. He already has three home runs and three doubles this season, ranking among the top 10 in the MLB in both categories. He should be able to produce an extra-base hit in this game against the Athletics. Luis Morales is on the bump for the A’s today. Morales struggled in his first start this season, giving up three home runs for a total of five earned runs in 4.1 innings of work. The Blue Jays crushed Morales with hard contact and that is all Yordan Alvarez has been generating so far this season. He should be able to get on base multiple times, generate power, and he has a great chance to put one over the outfield wall as well.
Brent Rooker More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Brent Rooker has been outstanding for the Athletics the last three seasons. He made two All-Star Games and finished top-10 in MVP voting. Rooker has been a power bat that has also been a consistent presence, playing all 162 games last year. It had been a rough start for Rooker and the Athletics this season, however. That is, until last night’s game against the Astros. The Athletics got the win, putting up 11 runs in the process. Rooker got on base twice and scored a run both times he got on base. That hopefully woke up Rooker and the rest of the lineup ahead of this matchup against Houston rookie Tatsuya Imai. Imai struggled in his first career MLB start, giving up four runs in just 2.2 innings of work. Imai’s control was all over the place and the Angels were able to hit him hard. If Imai can’t go deep, that is bad news for Houston. The Astros’ bullpen has a 5.12 ERA this season, the seventh-worst in baseball. Rooker should be able to get on base and generate runs for the Athletics against Imai and that floundering bullpen.
