Okay, so two-fifths of the Opening Day rotation is on the IL and the club is slumping at the plate. Neither Boyd or Horton thinks they’re in for a long stay on the list, and Seiya Suzuki is due back when the Cubs hit Wrigley. It could be worse.

These Rays are not pushovers. Jameson Taillon kept the club in the game but that wasn’t quite enough. The bullpen and the bats failed. They’ll try again today.
