After the Chicago Cubs announced that the team is launching a contest to discover the best chocolate chip cookies recipe, Iowa women’s basketball legend and current Indiana Fever star point guard Caitlin Clark kindly requested to be the judge of the franchise’s quest.
Clark has not shied away from her status as a self-proclaimed chocolate chip cookies connoisseur, replying on Instagram to LeBron James’ Feb. 17 NBA diet sacrifices by stating that she’d rather retire than give up the delicious treat.

Now that the Cubs are in search of the best chocolate chip cookies recipe to use at the Wrigley Field concessions, Clark could not resist offering her expertise as a taste tester to the historic MLB franchise.
As a response to Clark’s comments, the Cubs replied to her request to be a judge of the contest with an apparent confirmation.
Although the validity of the Cubs’ response to Clark’s plea has not yet been determined, it is another instance in which the former Hawkeye has shown her outgoing personality as she prepares for the start of her third WNBA season.
The Fever are currently constructing their 2026 roster in WNBA free agency. With the quick turnaround due to the condensed WNBA offseason schedule, Clark and the Fever will begin training camp on April 19, then enter the preseason on April 25 and the regular season on May 9.
