On Friday night, the Milwaukee Brewers will host the Washington Nationals in Wisconsin.

The Brewers are coming off a 5-0 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday at Fenway Park.

Before Friday’s game, the Brewers announced the news that they had recalled Easton McGee from Triple-A.

RHP Easton McGee recalled from Triple-A Nashville”

McGee is in his second season with the Brewers.

He is coming off a year where he appeared in nine games with a 5.52 ERA.

McGee’s MLB Career

McGee was picked in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB Draft.

He has also spent time playing for the Tampa Bay Rays and Seattle Mariners over three MLB seasons.

Over 11 career games, McGee has had a 3.33 ERA.

At 28, he is still an intriguing piece for the Brewers.

Brewers Right Now

The Brewers are off to a strong start to the 2026 season.

They are 8-4 in their first 12 games, which has them at the top of the National League Central.

At home, the Brewers are 5-1 in six games at American Family Field.

Following their three-game series with the Nationals, the Brewers will remain at home to host the Toronto Blue Jays on April 14.

They are coming off a year where they lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS.

The franchise has been unable to return to the World Series since 1982.
