Aiden Robbins is flourishing in his first season playing college baseball at the University of Texas.

Batting third in the Longhorns lineup, the 2023 Holy Ghost Prep graduate from Yardley leads the team in average (.368), hits (56), home runs (15), triples (2), runs scored (47), total bases (112) and slugging percentage (.737).

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Robbins helped the 30-8 Longhorns (11-6 in the SEC) to their first three-game sweep of rival Oklahoma in 12 years on March 26-28, including a pair of walk-off wins. He also became the first Texas player to hit for the cycle since 2015 on Feb. 21 against Michigan State by going 4 for 4, culminating with an eighth-inning home run off the foul pole.

Robbins’ Texas success has him projected to go in the first round of the 2026 MLB Draft.

Robbins, who throws and bats righthanded, went No. 25 to the Milwaukee Brewers in the USA Today MLB Mock Draft released Monday, April 20.

He is in the top 25 of Baseball America’s latest draft rankings after being ranked No. 35 in February. As a college junior, he’ll be eligible for the MLB Draft that begins July 12 in Philadelphia.

The 21-year-old Robbins spent his first two collegiate years at Seton Hall, leading the Pirates in average (.422), runs (63), hits (86) doubles (19), total bases (133), walks (44), on-base percentage (.537), slugging percentage (.652), stolen bases (20) and multi-hit games (26) as a sophomore in 2025.

At Holy Ghost, Robbins was first-team All-Courier Times/Intelligencer as a senior, averaging .438 with a .945 slugging percentage, 1.414 OPS, plus 7 homers and 27 RBIs.
