The Miami Marlins hosted a special event for the local Jewish community with “Passover at the Park” at loanDepot park on April 6.

In addition to the game — the Marlins played the Cincinnati Reds — attendees got to enjoy a pregame gathering that highlighted Passover, featuring kosher cuisine and exclusive merch. Miss Israel Melanie Shiraz and 2026 Winter Olympian Jared Firestone threw out the honorary first pitches and Cantor Lisa Segal, Cantor Norman Cohen-Falah and Cantor Orly Campbell sang the Israeli National Anthem before the game.

“Passover is a time of reflection, tradition, and togetherness, and we are so proud to create space for that at the ballpark,” said Alex Parker, chief brand officer of Miami Marlins. “Events like these celebrate the rich diversity of South Florida and ensure our fans see their traditions reflected here with the Miami Marlins.”
