During Tuesday’s game, Jose Altuve made major MLB history by playing in his 2,000th career game.
He is the 254th player to ever reach the milestone.
FOX Sports: MLB wrote: “Jose Altuve has become the fifth active player to reach 2,000 career games!”

At 35, Altuve is still a very productive player.
He came into the night batting .281 with three home runs, eight RBI’s, 17 runs and one stolen base in 23 games.
@BillBishopKHOU of KHOU-TV wrote: “Jose Altuve just started the 2,000th game of his career, all with the Astros, of course. He is the 3rd Astros player to reach this milestone. Hall of Famers Craig Biggio (2,850) and Jeff Bagwell (2,150) also surpassed 2,000 career games.”
