The Arizona Diamondbacks announced yesterday that they have signed former Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Sean Reid-Foley.
The Blue Jays drafted Reid-Foley in the second round of the 2014 MLB draft but traded him along with a few other players to the New York Mets back in 2021 for Steven Matz.

After 4 years with the Mets in New York, they decided to release Reid-Foley after he came back from the injured list as he has yet to pitch a single game in the majors this season.
The Diamondbacks announced yesterday that they agreed to a minor league deal with Reid-Foley and he has been assigned to their minor league team the Reno Aces.
The Diamondbacks signed veteran right-hander Sean Reid-Foley to a minor league deal for depth on Friday.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed RHP’s Tayler Scott and Sean Reid-Foley, and assigned them to Triple-A Reno!
Reid-Foley played in parts of 3 seasons with the Blue Jays with his best year coming in 2019 when he pitched in 31.2 innings with a 4.26 ERA and 28 strikeouts in that time.
Hopefully Reid-Foley will be able to impress in Triple-A and find his way back to the MLB with the Diamondbacks.
Last season with the Mets, Reid-Foley only pitched 21.2 inning in New York but managed to put together an impressive 1.66 ERA with 25 strikeouts which proves he can be a solid relief pitcher in the MLB.
