Duke baseball will face Murray State in the Durham Super Regional.

The Blue Devils (40-19) will host the Racers (41-14) in a best-of-three series from June 6-9 at Jack Coombs Field.

Murray State advanced to the super regional as the No. 4 seed out of the Oxford Regional by twice beating No. 10 overall seed Ole Miss and Georgia Tech. Duke had a perfect 3-0 run through the Athens Regional, winning games against Georgia and Oklahoma State to advance and earn the right to host.

How Duke baseball reached NCAA Super Regional

The Blue Devils are in their fourth super regional in the last seven seasons under head coach Chris Pollard. Duke shortstop Wallace Clark, who had nine hits and three RBIs, was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Athens Regional. Kyle Johnson (pitcher), Macon Winslow (catcher) and Sam Harris (designated hitter) joined Clark on the All-Regional team. Harris had two hits and two RBIs in the regional finale, helping Duke earn a 3-2 win against the Cowboys. Duke won 12-5 against Oklahoma State in Game 1 before a 6-3 win against Georgia in Game 2.

How Murray State baseball reached NCAA Super Regional

After winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, the Racers went to the Oxford Regional as the No. 4 seed. They beat Ole Miss 9-6 in Game 1 before earning a 13-11 win against Georgia Tech in Game 2. Following a 19-8 loss to Ole Miss in the first game of the regional final, the Racers bounced back for a victory in the finale to snag a spot in the super regional round.

What Duke baseball fans need to know about Murray State

The Racers are in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2003. In its fourth appearance as a program, Murray State beat Ole Miss in the regional opener for its first tournament win since 1979.
