Christian Arroyo – 8 for 17, 3 R, 3 2B, HR, 4 RBI, 2 BB, 3 K
Otto Kemp’s numbers remain absolutely pristine as he hit his 13th HR of the season and improved his season slash to .322/.418/.602 with 10 SB in 211 ABs. Since the beginning of May, Buddy Kennedy is OPSing 1.027 in 99 at-bats with 6 HR, insane. Combine that with Crawford, Arroyo, Stevenson and others pinching in…LHV is an absolute force at the plate this season.
Reading Fightin Phils (18-31, 14.5 games back in division)

Hendry Mendez – 3 for 15, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 BB, K
Cade Fergus – 3 for 20, 2 R, HR, BB, 9 K
Aidan Miller launched his 5th HR of the season and saw him have 3 straight multi-hit games last week. In his last 17 games games Miller is slashing .306/.386/.468 with 2 HR and 8 SB. Keaton Anthony has been a bit of the unsung hero and one constant in the lineup. The 23 year old is slashing .333/.388/.510 with 2 HR on the season. While that might not seem that impressive for a soon to be 24 year old in AA, then you probably haven’t been following Reading this season.

Dylan Campbell – 4 for 18, 3 R, 2B, 4 RBI, 3 BB, 4 K, HBP, 4 SB
Bryson Ware – 3 for 16, 2 HR, 4 RBI, 2 K
Kehden Hettiger – 7 for 17, 3 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI, BB, 3 K
We are starting to see the Carson DeMartini some (notably me) had expected to see this season. A prime breakout candidate is doing just that now and Martini is now slashing .273/.401/.424 with 5 HR, and 18 SB. 8 of his 15 extra-base hits have come during the month of May.
Clearwater Threshers (29-22, 1.5 games back in division)
Sam Highfill – 2 GS, 8.2 IP, 12 H, 3 R, 2 ER, BB, 6 K, 2 HR
Ryan Degges – 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, HBP
Reese Dutton – 4 IP, 5 H, 0 R, K, 2 HBP
Griff McGarry – 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 4 K

Griffin Burkholder – 4 for 15, 4 R, 2 2B, HR, 2 RBI, 3 BB, 8 K, HBP
Kodey Shojinaga – 7 for 20, 5 R, 2 2B, 3 RBI, 2 BB, 4 K, HBP
Raider Tello – 5 for 20, 2 R, HR, 6 RBI, BB, 4 K
Avery Owusu-Asiedu – 5 for 15, 6 R, 2 HR, 4 RBI, BB, 4 K, SB
Carter Mathison – 6 for 14, 4 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI, BB, 2 K, HBP, SB
Aroon Escobar has a modest 10 game hitting streak and 14 game on-base streak going. Despite the down-tick in power as of late, the impressive 2B is still OPSing .924 in 177 AB. Eduardo Tait is a fun prospect because even though he has some serious worries (defense and strikeouts), he is an 18 year old playing in a league where guys on average are 3 years older than him and he is still slashing .274/.328/.486 with 8 HR. He has yet to face a pitching younger than him.
