The Colorado Rockies announced a series of roster moves on Tuesday morning prior to their game against the Miami Marlins.

Right-handed pitcher Chase Dollander has been re-instated from the 15-day injured list. Dollander was placed on the IL out of precaution when he experienced some tightness in his right forearm after his last start against the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 18th.

Dollander, 23, currently has a 6.28 ERA over eight starts and has struck out 38 batters over 38 2⁄3 innings of work during his rookie campaign. He will start tonight’s game against Miami.

In a corresponding move, right-handed starter Tanner Gordon has been placed on the 15-day IL with a left oblique strain.

Gordon, 27, was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque shortly after Dollander was injured. He helped lead the Rockies to a surprise win against the New York Yankees thanks to a six inning Quality Start where he gave up just two earned runs on five hits and struck out five batters. He followed that up with a solid 4 2⁄3 innings against the Chicago Cubs where he allowed only two earned runs.

There have also been some moves in the Rockies bullpen.

Right-handed closer Zach Agnos has been placed on the Bereavement List following the recent passing of his grandfather.

Agnos, 24, made his debut this season and has a 1.50 ERA through his first 16 career appearances. He has four saves, including an instrumental one on Monday night as the Rockies broke an eight-game losing streak and finally earned their tenth win.

To fill in for Agnos, the Rockies have recalled right-handed reliever Angel Chivilli from Triple-A Albuquerque.

Chivilli, 22, has made 20 appearances and pitched 29 1⁄3 innings for the Rockies out of the bullpen this year both in long relief and single inning roles.
