Rockies Under Fire After Calling to Fans for Help originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Throughout the 2025 season, the Colorado Rockies have continuously cemented themselves as the worst team in MLB, sporting a horrendous 11-50 record with a minus-182 run differential.

The season has been going so badly that on May 11, the Rockies made the decision to fire manager Bud Black, who had been with the team since 2017, compiling a 544-690 record.

Their poor performance on the field isn’t going to stop them from trying to help their top players receive some recognition, which includes sending someone to the All-Star Game, set to be held in Atlanta on July 15.

On Wednesday, they made a social media post revealing that fan voting has officially opened, attempting to drum up some support with a graphic stating, “Get Our Rockies to Atlanta.”

Colorado’s post was quickly met with a number of social media users who were not interested in helping out.

“The audacity of this post,” said one comment.

“worst team in the mlb begging for all-star votes lmao y’all ain’t getting anyone on there,” said another.

“Sorry but no one is voting rox,” a third added.

A fourth stated, “The Rockies should be barred from the All-Star Game. That’s a no-brainer.”

“Yall shouldve left this in the drafts,” a fifth continued.

“This has to be a joke,” said another.

Of course, though, every team always has at least one representative in the All-Star Game, which means that someone from the Rockies will be in attendance.

Two of the most likely options would be catcher Hunter Goodman or left fielder Jordan Beck, who are the only qualified hitters on the team with an OPS above .700.
