Out with the old, in with the new.

Springfield’s minor league baseball team, now called the Ozarks Springbirds, is selling off its remaining Springfield Cardinals memorabilia — including team store merchandise, team-issued equipment and apparel, specialty jerseys, and stadium signage — on Nov. 13-14 at the Route 66 indoor training facility.

The Springfield Cardinals Garage Sale goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days, and the team said in a news release that “EVERYTHING MUST GO!”

Parking and admission are free, and RED Access members get in first on Friday, Nov. 13.

It was a season of change for the St. Louis Cardinals’ Double-A affiliate. Not only did the team change its name to the Ozarks Springbirds in October, but the team’s home stadium in April was changed from Hammons Field to Route 66 Stadium.

Brand-new Ozarks Springbirds gear is also on sale through the team’s website.
