It wasn’t apparent that Hernández had suffered an injury, but in the bottom of the fourth inning, Chris Taylor was in the game with Hernández in the dugout.
Shortly after the move, the Dodgers announced that Hernández exited the game with left hamstring tightness.
Hernández, 32, is off to another dominant season with the Dodgers in 2025. Following up his All-Star campaign in 2024, the right-handed slugger is slashing .315/.333/.600 with nine home runs, 34 RBIs, 10 doubles, and an OPS of .933.
Teoscar Hernandez continues his impressive start to the season with an RBI double off Sandy Alcantara in the first inning.
He now has an MLB-leading 34 RBIs this year, breaking a tie with Yankees star Aaron Judge.
