DURHAM, N.C. (KFVS) – The Murray State Baseball team beat Duke 5-4 Monday night in a thriller in Durham to advance to their first-ever College Baseball World Series.
The Racers tied the game 3-3 in the 7th inning on Jonathan Hogart’s second home run of the game.
Murray State went ahead 4-3 in the 8th inning on a Luke Mistone homer.
The Racers closed things out 5-4 in the 9th inning to make school history.
Murray State will now play UCLA Saturday in the College World Series at 1 p.m.
